Sensory Integration Therapy

The goal of Sensory Integration Therapy is to support the child with their sensory processing disorders by introducing them to sensory stimulation through structure and repetition giving them the opportunity to re-develop and re-build their sensory-motor functions.

Objectives of Sensory Integration Therapy are:

Enhance internal sensory processing.
Enhance self-regulation and independence.
Develop skills in adaptive functioning.
Support the child in their productive participation in their daily life experiences and activities.
A structured sensory-related interventions and activities are nurtured according to the requirements as per each child’s specific needs which are made after they are appropriately assessed and evaluated.
