Sensory room as the name suggests is a safe and spaced environment that supports children develop and engage their sensory perceptions through the use of lights, sound, colours and other sensory stimuli. Children are free to roam about and explore the area without any form of risk and through varied interactions of the sensory objects available within the Sensory Room, they are able through practice, repetition and most of all encouragement, to improve upon these skills:

  • Adequate adaptation to sensory stimulus
  • Learn to become more Organized.
  • Recovery and development of balance, movement and spatial adaptation.
  • Enhanced focus and learning abilities.

Through the use of varied equipment within the Sensory Room, a variety of physical and cognitive skills can be improved and enhanced. Every child is unique and learn differently and a different methodology of learning will prove beneficial for children who are having various forms of difficulties physically or mentally and at JIMPIRE, we will be there to support you and your child towards his/her progress and milestones.

Welcome to our Sensory Garden 

Sensory gardens are designed specifically for the very purpose of stimulating and engaging the child with an open and natural environment and for those with sensory processing issues, it is an incredible opportunity for them to find their roots with Mother Nature. A Holistic approach to Therapy which is not only beneficial for mental health and it is also a healthy place of discovery for the child to freely explore his/her surroundings and learn to better his/her sensory capabilities.

A sensory garden focuses on features that attract multiple senses of a child. Through interactive features of sound, touch, smell and sights and taste, Sensory Gardens support the child towards freedom of movement, exploration and a willingness to learn to interact with their surroundings. Our garden has a sensory pathway comprising of different textures and also a sandpit to enhance sensory stimulus in the child.

Parents who are stressed and who experience constant bouts of anxiety, should explore the Sensory Garden, and realize the importance of how being in a natural environment filled with trees, plants and flowers can shift the stresses out of the mind caused by daily living situations.

 The Early Intervention program is designed for infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delays to identify and manage the physical, cognitive, communcation, sensory, emotional and adaptive developmental needs of the child ,during the very early stages of development.Early Intervention is the key to success and progress within the child as the rate of human learning and development is most rapid in the early years of life.

Through various assessments of the child, integrating his/her family, a program plan is impemented which may include physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and any other types of services based on the needs of the child and family.
