Sensory room as the name suggests is a safe and spaced environment that supports children develop and engage their sensory perceptions through the use of lights, sound, colours and other sensory stimuli. Children are free to roam about and explore the area without any form of risk and through varied interactions of the sensory objects available within the Sensory Room, they are able through practice, repetition and most of all encouragement, to improve upon these skills:
- Adequate adaptation to sensory stimulus
- Learn to become more Organized.
- Recovery and development of balance, movement and spatial adaptation.
- Enhanced focus and learning abilities.
Through the use of varied equipment within the Sensory Room, a variety of physical and cognitive skills can be improved and enhanced. Every child is unique and learn differently and a different methodology of learning will prove beneficial for children who are having various forms of difficulties physically or mentally and at JIMPIRE, we will be there to support you and your child towards his/her progress and milestones.
